Hello!
It has been awhile since I last posted something here. In the past year or so, I had to focus on school, instead of photography. But not to worry, I took my high school's basic movie making classes. For my final project, I decided to do something extremely ambitious-Stopmotion. I started out by making a town on my garage floor, by using moving boxes with facades taped on. This is at least 36 hours of work-2 weekends of shooting, 6 hours of setup-It isn't finished, as it is an ongoing project. I shot this with my 20D, borrowing my dads Gitzo tripod, and 24-70L f2.8. I then went into Final Cut Express, and made it 15 FPS for the still length.

Enjoy!

Because Final Cut Express cuts off with the audio, not the video in this case. This was a progress report for the teacher, as he wanted updates from me often, due to me turning that in 10 minutes late.

It was a pain in the ass to make, but a fun pain in the ass. Lots of hard work. The assignment requires for us to make a 10 minute movie each quarter. For this final quarter, I decided to go for broke.
