maybe it's the next $39 million photo, it's not the quality of the photo, it's how you sell it. I'm pretty sure someone will get what you are trying to achieve but then again, it also strike me as a failed attempt and being rescued with metaphor and big words to cover its boringness.

Point taken however for me the draw was in the image before I began to see the metaphors. I am a alternate art junkie however. In my world there is absolutely nothing boring about this image.

I sort of process art personally. I'm not sure everyone does. I'm not convinced the title is dialed in just yet.

Ganga is nice but not necessary for this type of work. Imagination is beautiful all on its own.

A metaphor in imagery with the sailboat representing a promise promise and static field an indication of an uncompromising conflict generating forbidden access to attainment of the promise. The image was captured on a 5x7 sheet of B/W film.

OK Critique away this should be interesting. Feel free to express what ever strikes you.

I've had bouts of insanity for sure, was a minister for a while, and have spent hours in the gallery in Amsterdam on more than one occasion. Some of those pieces I can view for hours on end.

Well... I'm not really moved or touched by this photo. I find it a bit contrived. Sorry.

Plus, I think I see the extraterrestrial alien named Alf in the middle of the photo. It's kind of distracting.

Taking photos with a fancy camera does not make me a photographer.
