Just curious what Canon lens do you use or have you used that gives you the sharpest highest quality images on your 7d?

I would suggest you will find that is a question that doesn't have an answer.

Or it will have many different correct answers.

Fair point.
I probably should have included the word "definitive"

Since very few of us have all the lenses in the Canon line-up, I'd say out of my list, the 7D is amazing with the 70-200 2.8 IS.

You will not get many answers as it'll depend on the shooters who have a 7D and the lenses they own.

It's really good with many; 70-200 2.8, 300, 100L, 85L, 15-85, even the little 60mm produces sharp shots.

17-55mm IS USM, 35mm L 1.4, and 70-200mm f4 L (non-IS) for me.... super sharp pics on both compared to most other lens I've used on the 7D

Canon 500mm F4L IS. It's the only lens you need. Perfect for vacations, honeymoons, and shooting macro. Oh.. and weddings.

I bet it is great for indoors and landscapes too.

From the ones I tested till today, my 11-16 is TACK sharp at any given aperture, but my 17-55 and 85L are out of this planet in sharpness.
