I am trying to install the ZoomBrowser EX 6.4 on my netbook computer. I have the CD installed on another computer. When I click on Setup.exe on the notebook, I get a message "install.exe could not load Master.ini".

How can I install the ZoomBrowser program on my netbook?

You'll need to connect to an external monitor. Canon's supplied software requires a minimum resolution of 1024x768 pixels; your netbook is 600 pixels high. So the installer won't run and you wouldn't be able to run the apps on it either, except with an external monitor.

Thanks for the reply, but that is not the problem. I can't even load the program. And my computer displays on a large monitor, the resolution set to 11024 x 768!

As I said, the program does not install. I get a message "install.exe could not load Master.ini" and it will not do the install.

What did you do that was different? Did you use an external CD Drive rather than a networked computer's drive?

I've always installed from a connected CD/DVD drive, a flash drive or a downloaded program on the local hard drive. I don't use Zoom Browser once I've added my name to the camera, and DPP is painfully slow on netbooks. I download with Downloader Pro nowadays.
