It's been very showery in UK these last couple of days. The first few of my shots were taken in between showers and you can see the drops of water everywhere.
In this first one, the aphids are shouldering different loads. The one on the left looks a little overloaded!
In this shot of a small fly I knew I was using the potentilla flower as a backdrop (entirely naturally), but then noticed that the water drops refracted an image of the flower, like in LordV's famous images.
Here is a large skipper, with water drops on its eye. The butterfly is in such good condition I suspect it may have only recently emerged.
A few nights ago my wife spotted this tubeweb spider hiding in a bolt-hole in my garden wall - it was a perfect size for her.

Here is a 14-spot ladybird larva sucking an aphid of its juices.
And finally a tiny leafhopper, made from two images at pretty-much maximum magnification with the MP-E65.
