Jun 21, 2011 02:41 | #3 nice work here mate. some flippin footage. sorry can i ask a noob question? when you're editing how do you slow the footage down and then speed it up in the same clip. i have only just started using FCP. do u slow from 60p to 24p in cinema tools and then speed up the parts of the clip u want in fcp? ---Adam--- Facebook

Personally, the more I try Cinestyle, the less I like it due to issues like this. Other than that, fun stuff. You're out there shooting, testing, learning - good on ya! Just curious, what picture style do you use? I tried Cinestyle, now I lean more towards just shooting in neutral with contrast at -4, saturation at -1, sharpness at 0 Michael L. Solomon

In certain circumstances I use Marvel, but for the most part I try to get it as close in camera as possible. Had high hopes for Cinestyle, but find the banding and noise that suddenly appear in grading are too much for my tastes. But that's just me - BP -
