The second one is really cool , well done

Thanks, the idea actually stemmed from a flickr group called camera tossing... basically, they go out, set the camera on 2 sec. timer, focus on lights (neon or led mostly, but any will work), and shoot, tossing there camera in the air to catch the (implied) movement of the lights. (most use p&s's some use their dslrs) I just couldn't bring myself to "toss" any of my cameras, so these were done by tethering my 40D with a sturdy strap and twisting it up, catching focus, shoot (with 2 second timer) and allowing the camera to "un-twirl" itself over an led lantern below. I believe I used f/20 or so and shots were at 1.5sec-4 sec. The second one is doubled over in ps, and then I selected and used perspective adjustment on the bottom 1/3.
