Thanks, I think they are just the embers that come out when the fire pops and crackles.

Nice ones. I think these are better than your previous thread. This first one is cool. I like the coolness of the air with the ember streaks. This effect is a little lost in the 2nd one with the heat "aura".

if you have a rough idea what were your f stop and shutter speed? This is pretty cool!!
