I gave up on Target and bought one online for $175. Definitely a good lens for the money!

I was just at my local Target in California (Bay Area) and they had both these lenses in stock and at these sale prices.

I just came back from my local Target store (SoCal) to get one of the 55-250 and they have multiple copies of these two lenses for the sale price. The label says the sale is going on again from 7/17 to 7/31.

I passed along the info to a friend who was looking for the 55-250mm to use on her Rebel. She stopped by her local Target and all they had was the display model. It took some asking around to find somebody authorized to sell the display one, and when he did he took off another 15%. Getting that lens for $130 ain't bad!

I just called a Target in ND and asked about the 55-250. He said the price was $299. Is this just select targets?

I went to my local target today and picked one up for $150. They still had the temp price drop on the shelf but when they rang it up, it came up 299. The manager honored the price but said that they stopped the promotion early on the 75-300(for 99) so this must have come off as well. Sounds like this deal is over unless you get lucky...

the first post says it's just through 7/2 but sounds like a few people had luck after that date

FYI, The sale sign said 7/17-7/31. Not sure why they are apparently ending this deal early. My local target had 2-3 more available too...

Same here. I tried 5 Targets in my area, two of them said they were told by management to take the sales signs down on Monday (7/18.)

Walked into a local Target (bay area) and they had some in stock, with the sale tag showing the $149.99 price, but when I went to pay it came up $299.99, so the clerk called a manager over, he showed her the tag, she said to give me the sale price, but to pull the sale tag after, so I'm not sure if it is over or not, also the tag did say 7/17-7/31.

Got one on Tuesday in Southern California (Temecula) for the $150. Only the 55-250 mm was at the sale price. The 70-300mm was at the regular price. Rang up for the sale price. I'm glad it came back because I missed out on the first sale.

Mine also rang up $299., I let them know and they also gave me the sale price. Not sure if they pulled it.I'm probably heading there today.,I'll see if the tag is still there. I'm in NJ
