pp'ed a little, adjusted for lighting, dodge in the eye a little.
Not as sharp as most pic's, but ok for canon worst zoom I think

nice close-in shot Ian. Something to watch out for are bright reflections off the water.

Good shot. It's tough to get a good shot of a black and white bird.

Thanks for the comments. I will watch out more for the reflections. I admit I have never thought about that, just concentrating on the bird..

The crop is odd, but the capture is nicely done.

Thanks Flo. Agree with you on the crop. All i have done is taken a little off the top and bottom. Next time I will try and compose the shot a little better.
