This was our first shoot together, good opportunity to meet each other and try a couple of simple portraits.

1. Lit with 430EXII @ 1/2 power reflected into umbrella left of subject. 1 540EZ through diffusion panel on axis as fill.

Shot 3 has a really nice feeling of movement to it.

Excellent lighting in these shots although the forehead looks kinda hot in shots 3 and 4.

Love the first one. Great series.


16-35 2.8L 24-105L 35 1.4L 135L 50 1.4 85 1.8 and 100 macro, 5D, 5D2, 40D, 20D, (3) 550, 2 Sunpak 555, white lighting studio set-up.

There was no clipping in photoshop,there is detail there but it does look a little hot.
