Beautiful exposure and lighting. Well controlled.

That is some nice work. Was there a couple weeks ago and couldn't find a wide framing like that that I liked. I'm going against the grain here, though, and voting for the 2nd one :)

I like the first shot. As somebody who lives in PDX and sees these falls all the time, it's nice to see something a little different. I'm not used to seeing wider shots of it.

Thank you - it's definitely not a 'normal' shot of the falls. The light was beautiful that morning, colors were great, and as you know, there was plenty of water falling.

Wow, such beauty.

It is a rare and beautiful area, that's for sure.

I like the more inclusive vertical of the 2nd one, especially the tree high up on the right.

It's a big waterfall, that's for sure - 620 between the two drops.

Beautiful shots. I love this spot.

It's places like this that caused our relocation from NY. The whole area is rich in outdoor beauty if you're into that sort of thing. We love it. And the milder climate certainly is a plus - wet but mild.

Thank you MDoc, but it's just that simple rule of photography - F8 and be there. We just happened hit the falls at a great time for light and volume.
