This seem to me to be your best flower shot -- greatly improved over the 1st two.

So you are really gettin the hang of things.

1: The shades (rose, white, blue, green, yellow) are just gorgeous
2: The side lighting is wonderful
3: DOF is fine -- except perhaps for the yellow core.

I might try to sharpen the yellow core a bit -- it does hit your eye.

I trust that you used a tripod

Ok, I understood most of that. I am not proficient in photoshop yet but I will be soon. I don't know how to sharpen one part of a photo yet, still learning. But, I am so glad you liked this one, it is my favorite too.

Yes, I do use a tripod but I didn't for that shot.
