Honestly I've been nothing short of pleased with the portability of the little P&S. Its ability to shot RAW has been right up my alley. I've learned that often times shooting -1 2/3 stops that the RAW file retains plenty enough detail in shadows to capture the highlights without blowing them out.
It fits easily into a pocket or in my Osprey Raptor 6 Hydration Pack while riding the mountain bike trails. Certainly it won't out do the 7D but its provided me an excellent alternative for packing lite ...
