So my Mom saw this today in SE Missouri. I'm guessing it's some sort of experimental aircraft. Any other theories?

Its this: USAF X-37B (external link)

There's one flying up high right now. Last flight in space lasted like 7 months.

Yep my vote is X-37B as well. Basically a small, unmanned space shuttle. The orbits have been classified, but sky watchers have sighted and plotted it anyway.
