I plan to get a 19" lcd monitor, I would like to know which monitor is good for like under $500? Is Samsung 930B ok?
Thanks.

Samsung SM913N is very nice. It will do portrait or landscape mounting happily depending on needs. Should be well under $500 as I paid around £200 for mine.

I use a 23-inch Apple HD Cinema LCD, which is the best LCD i have ever used... but a bit out of your price range (i paid $2500 Australian for it).

I have always had trouble with the accuracy of cheap LCD monitors...

If you are on a budget, i would recommend and good brand name CRT instead.

I just got an NEC LCD1970GX based on a comparative review in PC World.

So far I am happy, but I have only processed a few photos on it.

I run (all 19") Samsung's SynMaster 910T and Dell's UltraSharp 1905FP on our main system in dual mode and then on the other system we run the Dell UltraSharp 1905FP.

Overall I prefer the Samsung. Sharper, cleaner, crisper. The Dell's are awesome, but the Samsung is a tick above.
