Like a lot of things this year, the Buntings were several weeks late in returning. I was actually starting to get worried they might not come back this year. But thankfully they did return. Thanks for looking.

These are really nice. They're hard to get close to. BTW, I've seen lots here in NJ.

those are among the best bunting shots I've seen on this list.
We had so much wind and bad weather here this spring that the songbirds have apparetly decided to go elsewhere. But we do seeem to have more hummers than usual.
Strange year.

Beautiful shots! I hardly ever see these birds, and this morning I drove around through the country and saw 3! Didn't get a shot tho, they were very shy.
