I own and use three Cheetah strips. They're very nice. If they weren't, I would have replaced them long ago, but I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of light and the build, not to mention a good quality grid.

Many inexpensive lightboxes come with cheap junk grids that offer very little control and are made from tissue paper. The grids that come with the Cheetah lightboxes are well made and offer the same control as those sold by Photoflex. I believe it's a ~40 degree grid.

Excellent value and well made.

Yup, I have one 9" x 36" and a pair of 14" x 55". I like them quite a bit. All with grids and almost never use them without the grids.

Thanks for the suggestion Robert. Looks like I'm going to be picking up two large and one small with grids this summer.

I don't think you'll regret it at all, Chris.
The large strips work really well with the Bowens Quick Ring. The small strip will work but it's a snug fit. I don't mind the snug fit to have the convenience of using the Quick Ring.

Would i be able to use a 580II with either of those stripboxes with good results? Or is that asking too much from a speedlite?

Wow...what great customer service. I placed my order with Cheetah stand....and the site calulated shipping. So no big deal.

Just got a call from them that the site was wrong and I got a 19 buck refund.

Way cool!

Highly recommend Cheetah Stand....
