Starting to sell photos -marketing-

So I have started to get into selling some photos. What I was wondering is are there any other ways that you can see that I should consider in helping to get my name out, prints sold, or anything else that I am missing. I mean of course there are always those 'festivals' but I don't really feel they would be that profitable in most situations, but I could be wrong... I am very new to this whole business, which is why I thought I would ask you pros here
