This is a goldfinch that I saw in a relative's garden in South England. It was rare for them to come to the garden. So I was lucky to be able to capture this image. It is cropped and I used the 250mm lens with IS. 200 ISO. C&C is welcome.

I just looked up on the Internet, there are two main types of goldfinches, European and American. Obviously the one I took is a European goldfinch. Your photo looks fantastic. Canon Powershot S95, Canon EOS 1000D attached to Skywatcher Explorer 150P on an EQ-3 unguided mount.

I don't know why it looks blurry. I just reopened it and re-saved it. I think it looks slightly better. I have a feeling it was because it was moving a lot. It just did not want to stay still. Also, it looks better when it is not at 100% crop.
Although, I do have the same bird from a different angle because it was moving constantly. In this case, would using the TV mode have been better? Canon Powershot S95, Canon EOS 1000D attached to Skywatcher Explorer 150P on an EQ-3 unguided mount.
