Great photos, I really like this one with the water on the left and everything on the right to take in. It is very nice, can't wait to see the other photos.

This compressed version does not do the above image justice.

they say image quality is better on the 18-55is
but i dont know how true that is
my 18-55mm went deal a few weeks ago so im looking for a good replace ment and i had my eyes on the 18-135mm also like that it has the internal focusing system

Well my personal opinion on the 18-55mm IS.. Is that it is a great kit lens from exprience. Its not a SUPER sharp lens as an L series lens but it does the job. I think most people underestimate it and sometimes I think it's because they get frustrated about image quality they get with their settings. Do I know and understand how to get the best image quality possible? No I don't its all a learning process with me. But i do get compliments Here for the images i post using that lens. So it makes me feel like im doing something right. Its light weight and the IS and AF work great. At least for me.. I see some fellow members are having some issues with it. So would I reccomend the 18-55mm is? Sure! If your on a budget yes but if u can wait and save up I'd get something better. Hope this helps.. Good luck

I can't keep up with these boards! So many very nice images coming out of this camera daily. Here is another contribution from shooting hummingbirds this evening. This is with the 70-200 f/4 and it is a heavy crop...probably too heavy actually. I have hundreds from tonight, but this is the only one I've had time to edit. CC is always welcome.

Very nice - natural or artificial light? It's cast very nicely over the subject either way!

Natural light through a window. Thanks!
