Love that bridge shot Peter, good thing your windshield was clean, I assume you were the passenger? Killerclown as usual the best fly pictures ever. The hummbird is amazing as well, what shutter speed is that?

I posted this in the C&C section. A little noisy, and not a great composition.. but my 1st decent wild(not a a feeder) hummingbird shot.]

Great hummingbird pic, they are so much prettier against real flowers instead of feeders.

Very nice shot. I really like the angle you took of the bird.

Really good job.

And the gorgeous shots just keep on coming. Neat bridge, amazing flies, great find with the baby Turkeys Dian, killer hummingbird in flight shot, and a dramatic architecture shot. I love the t2i!

Here is another hummingbird photo...these guys are everywhere as they feed up before moving south. This one was taken at 1600 ISO.

thanks.....I should have waited but the thing is we are following that van we are also driving, the top of the pic will be cut off and I want to show the top of the two poles. But you are right with the suggestion I appreciate it. thanks.

The pic is great.
Ideally it would've been better without the van but you can't stop the car in the middle of the road and hold up the traffic while you get the perfect shot. You should be able to of course, but you can't.

Sometimes you're in a very photogenic situation which isn't perfect but you have to take the shot anyway. There are so many rules in photography about the magic hour etc. etc. but how many of us can actually get up at the crack of dawn to carry a tripod half way up a mountain and wait until the light is absolutely perfect before shooting?
It just isn't practical.

Here's another broken rule.
I know you're not supposed to take photos through dirty reflective aeroplane windows but I couldn't resist this one:

Dang nice! The 70-200 f4 is my sharpest lens. How did you focus? Center point focusing and recompose, or used the left side focusing points?
