I understand the need to tell the story, but not at the rist of losing image quality. I, too, crop in sports shots quite often. I just try to find the point where the image quality remains intact. As for the OOF foreground player, I like it...I think the wider view works and my eye still ends up moving towards the red ball. That is just me and I know it is up to the individual how they want to edit...that is what makes this art so enjoyable...variety of interpretation. :)

Here is another image of our cat...taken lastnight.

LOL bobo... Aren't you from Hong Kong? My wife is from there...I will be visiting there in a year..Can't wait!

Yes but those 2 were from Macau - close by. When you visit do drop by there for a day, pretty nice place and lots of casinos.

Thanks Troy.

Inch - wait for the NEX7 - will blow everything out of the water. You might even want to sell everything and just go with that one in the future. I am at 2 minds atm.

You might want to try this new Fuji, it's pretty good and feels nice to use too.

Tried out my new 100-400mm tonight on the moon, not as sharp as I had hoped but conditions tonight are difficult with 30mph winds and dust in the sky, it was challenging to keep steady on the monopod.

Thanks Peter.
Nope - flu is gone the cold is refusing to go away. Doc thinks that it is allergy related and if that is the case then am in for a really "fine" winter unless they can come up with something.
