Hahaha no. I'm about as far from a pro as you can get lol. But friends with people that run a MeetUp group that shoots a lot of models that I tag along to trying to learn the ropes.

pretty cool set up there.....nice shot love the 2nd pic.....there are also meetups here in Seattle I checked them out really interesting but never been to one. Thought you are a pro man......

Welcome to the thread keep posting pics love to learn from others.....My wife thinks if I would continue to this hobby I might as well take it seriously to make some money told her not enough confident yet I have friends who does this for their extra income...

Yeah I hadn't heard of meetup till a few months ago when I got introduced. I used to try and shoot landscapes and nature stuff when I was living in Florida as it was there. In Texas, not so much- so I turned to portrait stuff. Always avoided it before because it seemed a lot harder, but it's actually a lot of fun.

Yeah, I'm at that point where I enjoy it and would like to build up skills/confidence enough to at least be in a position to think about making some side money, even if only to buy more lenses :p

Just checked the exif, the first one was actually the 24-105. But yeah, if this is the kind of thing you're shooting, 24-70 is an amazing lens.

I'll go through and try to find some more examples later.
