Hahaha no. I'm about as far from a pro as you can get lol. But friends with people that run a MeetUp group that shoots a lot of models that I tag along to trying to learn the ropes.

pretty cool set up there.....nice shot love the 2nd pic.....there are also meetups here in Seattle I checked them out really interesting but never been to one. Thought you are a pro man......

Welcome to the thread keep posting pics love to learn from others.....My wife thinks if I would continue to this hobby I might as well take it seriously to make some money told her not enough confident yet I have friends who does this for their extra income...

Yeah I hadn't heard of meetup till a few months ago when I got introduced. I used to try and shoot landscapes and nature stuff when I was living in Florida as it was there. In Texas, not so much- so I turned to portrait stuff. Always avoided it before because it seemed a lot harder, but it's actually a lot of fun.

Yeah, I'm at that point where I enjoy it and would like to build up skills/confidence enough to at least be in a position to think about making some side money, even if only to buy more lenses

Cool...same thing here landscapes and nature also but my other half would like me to do portraits and learn and pet photography told her not yet I am still having fun....he he he. But I am thinking about it too.

Hey welcome to the thread. I love that first shot. I take it its the brick.. Wish I could get mine now but have to wait. I think our cams make a great pair with that lens specially in that field of work you posted which is the same field I'm working on.

Just checked the exif, the first one was actually the 24-105. But yeah, if this is the kind of thing you're shooting, 24-70 is an amazing lens.

I'll go through and try to find some more examples later.
