Mmmmmm very sharp DT, lovely background. For that sharpness, and the way your friend 'pops out' from the background how much processing did you do, and would you care to share??????

Not at all. It was a combination of increasing and decreasing a few things.
If I can remember correctly
Clarity +20
Vibrance +28
Highlights +10
Lights +3
Blacks +3
Shadows -5
Sharpness +10
Contrast was slightly touched to darken.
The only thing that took time was if you see HIS right ear, on the bottom, there is a slight color change. It's a shadow that I had to increase the exposure with the selection brush. My head was on the way of the sunlight.
His eye was brightened up with the iris enhance also with the selection brush in LR3. Here is the raw untouched version and and edited version you can see the difference.

Thanks everyone for the comments on my Brooklyn photo, much appreciated!

I saw someone post about meet ups, is there a section on this forum where we can see if anyone in out area is doing group shooting events? Like I know there was a photo walk a month or two ago in Jersey City.....

Also someone posted moving objects, here is my take.

Why? you ask
Because we all know that vignetting is to draw the eye to the subject and obscure us, the viewers, from what's not as important. Too dark makes me feel like I'm looking through a tube.

There I said it..lol

Btw I forgot to mention WB is very good IMO
Nice job

I like a subtle vignette that yu don't even notice is really there. The eye is fickle- it doesn't need much to draw it's attention. That vignette is a tad too much for me. Love the kids expression though- it's like "Dad, it's friggin cold. Put the stupid camera down and let's go inside".

Nice images Peter. Love the lightbeams.
