Yeah guess I can do that.. But there is sooo much I'm afraid what it will look like in the end. But I can give it a try

I reckon you could get rid of 90% of the lines, either with clone stamp or the spot healing brush.
It would take time but if you really want to save the photo it's possible.
You can always undo it all if it doesn't work.

Tele, I'm quite impressed. That is quite a good edit for your first go round. I think the vignetting is a little overdone but the image looks much more appealing. Good job.

Too bad that class stinks. All the information you need is on here and elsewhere on the internet, trust me.

Yeah that's a shame that the class isn't as good as it should be.
Don't let that bad experience put you off other courses or teachers. I would strongly advise you to try again some time with a different college/teacher.

I was lucky enough to find a private tutor who lives 15 minutes from my house.
I've only had two or three lessons with him but he increased my understanding of photography tenfold.

Took this at the local lake last evening, had to bump the ISO way up to get a high enough shutter speed to hand hold as it was just at sunset and shooting toward a dark background. The 100-400 is sharp but sloooooow.

I did and I can't find it. I'll keep searching. Mine is the
10x20 muslins (it's huge).
2 continuous lighting umbrella kit (2 white umbrellas and 2 fluorescent lights they say it's 1000 equiv) I don't know about that but they are bright. like this here but my light bulbs are 4x bigger.
http://www.amazon.com …s=l&qid=1323456029&sr=8-4 (external link)
and Muslin clamps
http://www.amazon.com …10?qid=1323456029&sr=8-10 (external link)

After I decided to get 2 umbrella soft boxes. There here
http://www.amazon.com …s=l&qid=1323456454&sr=8-1 (external link)

I have not used continuous lighting for a while now. Actually since getting in to flash photography using my cowboy studio wireless triggers and my 3 flashes.

And to have some sence of completion I got this 5 in 1 reflector
http://www.amazon.com …s=l&qid=1323456804&sr=8-3 (external link)

I'll keep searching for that pic.
Hope all them links work.

What kind oh engine is that. I'm work in an aviation co. Looks like a commercial engine due to its size. But I could be wrong. I do see what looks like cf6 blades on the aft end of the fan.
Nice pic.

Digital you are correct it is commercial engine.

Digital you are correct it is commercial engine.

U know what's a real amazing engine or engine line? The GEnx line. Super powerful an extremely efficient and very easy to take apart to repair. We work in some of the engine components but I never seen one put together. I do remember seeing a pic somewhere, where a crew of 7 men had their pic taken sitting in front of the fan blades on the engine housing. Huge engine and huge fan blades. Id love to see one in person. Just look at its size

IMAGE: http://files.gereports.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/06/genx-1b_wperson.jpg
There are other models slightly bigger. But wow I just think they are amazing.

Nice shot! I think the exif viewer said you were at 1/50th, f/7.1, and ISO 800. Is that correct or is my exif viewer lying to me? 1/50th of a second is dang good IS to get a nice sharp image like that. The t2i does decent at ISO1600 if you get the exposure correct...that might allow you to get your shutter speed up a bit. Still a very nice shot T2i4me!
