I love this thread too...there used to be other members here that decided to leave and I don't know why.....I don't know tele if you remember names like Rafa, Anne, Marubozo and more they are geniunely nice member and they are always willing to help and give encouraging words to newbies like me to get better and better too bad they are not here anymore I wished from time to time they would stopby and say hi. Hey you two...... Just popped in from the 300mm f/4L forum to say hi!! I sometimes lurk around here, but not often. And know what? You two don't need anyone to push you forward. You're both doing a great job on your own.

BTW, I'm still in touch with the others, and they're all doing great. Some have moved on to full frame, and others are busy getting new photography businesses up and running. I've been pretty busy myself..... working to get more images added to my Getty collection (which stands at 29 as of now).

Peter, your bird shots are getting better and better with each passing day!! Don't you just love that 300L?

Hi Anne nice of you to dropped by and thanks for your kind words and keeps me going to this hobby. I love the lens little by little I am getting used to it.

Just browsed the 300mm f/4l board- nice to see your still busy Anne, I see you have been pretty active there too Peter.
I must say the lens and people using it make some awesome shots on that board.........

Greg : another great shot and PP , if i were you i'd create a whole new shot by cropping the part with the boat (since you have Image editing On , check the attached file) and that's assuming that you blurred it in post and still have the original file .
