Greg : another great shot and PP , if i were you i'd create a whole new shot by cropping the part with the boat (since you have Image editing On , check the attached file) and that's assuming that you blurred it in post and still have the original file :D .

I use LR3. I love it, but I haven't really played with Photoshop. I have Paintshop Pro X3, but haven't really taken the time to try everything with it. LR3 is perfect for me so far. I was going to point you in the direction of some tutorials for LR3, but [SLR]Lounge (external link) has a few photoshop tutorials as well. They seem to be geared more towards retouching, but there may be more buried around on the site dealing with other things.

I did find a very good, practical comparison of raw -vs- jpeg (external link) on there. Check it out.

love it :) i'd go there at night and take a couple of long exposures with the reflections of the (factories ?) lights on the water .

This shot of my brother was only intended as a test. The result was worth saving. Detail is so crispy, I can make out the dry skin on his face.
