Every June 21st is the national Go Skateboarding Day. Naturally, we went skateboarding all throughout the valley, mostly in Tempe and Downtown Phoenix. Don't have anything from DTPHX... the one spot we were actually going to set up and shoot at we were met by a gang of homies literally smoking crack cocaine. They started taggin' up the building we were at when a cop rolled by that they didn't see. I let 'em know what was up, and they high fived us all and left. And then the cop came and kicked us out, as opposed to going after the real ass holes. Whatever, we shredded all over Tempe and Downtown, literally just cruised around spots downtown going from spot to spot getting kicked out of em, ride around for a bit, come back, get kicked out again, hitting tons of stuff. What a great go skate day.

Here's a few of the earlier shots.

Why? So much of the time a fisheye can not give the action the justice it deserves, especially on huge gaps.Example= http://www.limitedmag.de …/uploads/2011/06/jaws.jpg (external link) That is like saying that portraits should always be done in black and white. I am not trying to be condescending, but you got to think that there is always different ways that something can be done to pull the viewer into the moment.

Could crop shadow of you out of first one and maybe the weird light effects of the second.

I've been shooting skating for 4 years and while I've often shot with a fisheye, I'm going to go out on a limb and say you have no idea what you're talking about. Don't troll this thread. Thanks.
