Reduce Noise 7D and 5D Mark II

In a discussion forum on another website concerning reducing 7D noise, the suggestion
was made to use non-native ISO in multiples of 160.

As to be expected there were many opinions. However one contributor did some extensive tests to show the value of above.

I just read through it myself and it's definitely an interesting read. I don't really see a huge difference in noise at lower ISO and I usually don't use an NR on shots until ISO 800+. There's a ton of nerd talk and graphs which are way over my head but the first graph pretty much sums it up. I use ISO 50 when shooting outdoors with my strobes but I might rethink that since I'm losing DR and highlights
