Back to Charlotte in the morning. Coca Cola 600 on Sunday...

But, we get Friday off and I'm hoping to give the new 135 a workout (if the damn truck gets here...)

Cool. It's been raining here, for three days...and it's 'cold' to boot. :(

I found it too long...or more accurately in no-man's land.
That's why I sold it, but now that I got a 5DMKII as a second body, I miss it. I make do with the half priced 100 f2, which does about 90% of what the 135L does...but the 135L is a magical lens.:D

Update: your old 135L is happy and doing well.

hmmmmmmmm.......

I have wanted a the 135 for as long as I discovered Canon, but went with the 70-200 after (in my mind) needing the versatility.

What do most of you who have the 135 and say not anything in the 200 range. Do u cope, or is it just more of a, "Well its so flipping amazing I dont care about 200 or versatility".

Most of my metadata tells me that 135 is great, but I also use the 70-200 at 200 quite often at the 200 end.

I have the 300L f/4 for more reach. I've debated getting the 70-200 but at this point these two lenses work well for me.

Thank you airbutchie. I've totally fallen in love with the 5DMk II & 135mm f/2 combination. Fun combo to shoot.

Got mine today, too.

Just haven't had a chance to go out and shoot ducks yet. :)

I am headed to Jerome, AZ this weekend; workout time for the newly arrived, of course.

Perfect place to go wring it out. Jerome would be one of my first choices if I weren't headed out of town for work this weekend.
