just got this lens.

kind of cliche subject matter, but I still liked it... PLUS I wanted to see just how sharp this lens is wide open... and to what extent I could utterly obliterate any semblance of detail in the background.

Nice shot, cool thing about the 135L is you have zero worries about sharpness and the AF at f2, just shoot and delight in the outcome.

Exactly, i feel this lens is the most sharpest wide open over another lenses, sure that 200 and 300 also sharp and many primes sharp wide open, but this lens is always sharp wide open maybe in all copies, but for example 50 some said their copies are soft wide open, so that i agree this lens you can shoot wide open [Blindly] and never worry how sharp it is.
