I have just tested my 135L at my "norm" testing grounds, Cedar Point (amusement park).

I must say, the 135L has given me images that blow my mind in terms of sharpness, isolation, and servo tracking quality. Some of the images I have just look so razor sharp and 3D, they look insane! And that was right out of the camera JPEG, I can't imagine what LR3 will do to the RAW files...

I wondered if the 135L would be able to keep up with the 70-200, but it blew it out of the water. Which is why I am also adding the 300 f/4L and now selling the 70-200... Although versatile, after using a lens like the 135L and seeing how sharp and detailed your images are from it at something like f/2 or f/2.8, you rely on the 70-200 a whole lot less :)

Photos coming tonight!

I went to a local music fest this weekend, the stage light was absolutely horrible, but you can't ask for much when the stage is a wagon in the middle of a field, nonetheless, here is a b&w set of Sharon Little and her amazing band, all obviously taken with the 135L.

First time I've loved a lens enough to post a picture that I took with it. This is a great lens. Taken with my 1D straight from camera jpeg.

*sigh* goodbye 135L, I barely knew ye.

Had to sell mine due to financial issues (transmission went). I shall own you again!

Yup! :) I was THIS close to buying the 200mm F/2.8 II, as-well. Then realized on my crop that would make a 320mm lens - Kind of unusable for what I do, haha.
