well, i finally caved and submitted my order for this one last night. i'll test it out for a month to try and see if it'll be good enough to convince me to sell my 70-200mm. :D

I dont know what it is, but when I cruise through these threads, there is only one other lens that seems to be used as much as the 135 f/2l to produce such stirring and wonderful shots.....the 85mm f/1.2l.

Everything else just doesnt seem to cut it.

It's also a little too big to "sneak" into the lens collection. You know - when the wife asks, you say, "Oh that one - that's the lens I ordered a while ago - remember I told you about that one." The 135 does make it past concert security, though...

this is a pretty awesome lens! just got it yesterday and been shooting around the house because of the weather outside and its heck of lens! Cant wait to get out with it :D

I spent the first day under the same circumstances... Just wait until you get outside and have some background between you and your subject.. You'll pee a little. Guaranteed.
