Thanks for the compliment, she'll be really happy to hear that.

I love the pictures you posted, you captured the eyes of your subjects perfectly, lovely! :D

I love the 135L to bit, the compression it creates it just so flattering.

Not to mention the fact that its razor sharp!

man i need to get this lens again. The two above shots really show how amazing a lens the 135L really is. Great shots btw Bridge99. Im just not sure if its worth having both 100L and 135L... I love the 100L and its IS but really miss the compression and amazing background blur of the 135L.... grrr!!!

cheers Jaystar, I keep on thinking of selling the 135L as the 100L sits on my camera nearly all the time and it dosent get much use these days, then I go off to a family bbq and decide to take the 135L & 1.4TC just incase I need a bit of extra reach (70-200 can be heavy after too much food and beer) and remember why I bought that lens in the first place, light fast sharp and great bokeh, I think I will only end up selling it when I get enough for a 200L f2 IS....... or maybe not.......

thats just it.... i dont like zooms anymore for there heaviness and size. I love primes!

That being said... I am having a hard time with this whole 100L vs 135L thing.... I love both lenses. I keep thinking that i should justify the 135L alongside the 100L simply because with a 1.4 TC its an effective 189mm F/2.8 lens as well, lol. That would give me a setup of: 35L, 85 1.8, 100L, 135L + 1.4 TC. Not bad I suppose for a pretty rounded out prime lens kit. Might add a UWA zoom and 300 F/4L in the future as well, LOL!!!! It never end, eh!

I know what you mean, and I blame POTN :) I keep reading lens threads and end up convincing myself that I need that lens.... also just got the 300 f4, a lot smaller than I thought it would be, really sharp though, next stop 85L then 35L... oh dear I think I need help!

lol, i know how you feel man. At some point though I really do want to have this as my lens kit : 16-35L, 35L, 85L, 100L, 135L, 300 F/4L, 1.4X tc.... so far i only have two... hahaha.... one can dream, right!

In all seriousness though I think I might just get the 135L again and 1.4x TC. That does give me a more rounded out kit. I am getting the Canon 85 1.8 for sure as well. So for the time being I will have: 35L, 85 1.8, 100L, 135L, 1.4x TC<<<< that gives me coverage from 35mm - 189mm. Pretty solid I think and versatile.

Im just gunna keep looking at this thread until Im pushed over the edge to re-acquire the 135L! :D
