I ask because I'll be in Boston soon, so I may be doing some street candids myself with the 135L. I'm somewhat sky when it comes to street candids, so the ones that I have shot were when the subject was unaware. :oops:

i'm simply kind, and honest with my project and ask if they would let me take their photo.

simple as that - just be nice, smile, and be very approachable when you ask them.
