Is not. I had a long discussion with others more familiar with the technology. Basically, the sensor contains microlenses. They capture the image in various DOF. Then, the images would be re-sampled as a single photo. At this point, the photo has a very deep DOF, think phyper-focal focusing. Then, the software can place focus points of your choosing afterward and to render the DOF and boken based on the F stops you use.

I know, the technology sounds like you can save an OOF shot. That's impossible because to do that you need to retrieve details that weren't there. Their samples appear to be able to do that is because the photo is in fact all in focus to begin with. In a way, focusing point selection only serves as a artistic and compositional purposes.

Oh yeah, of course, you have to use their camera technology, new system. I do wonder if the camera would pretend to allow you to focus in real time.

I don't think it's the fact that they're new members...it's the issue of no one searching to see if the topic has brought up.

I don't think it's fair to class somebody with eighty-two posts and who joined in March as a new member.

However, as with the anti-police threads, the topic has already become boring.
