How do I stop Lightroom from moving photos?

I prefer to organize my photos myself into folders named by date and location rather than let Lightroom 3 handle a catalog, so I've always just imported photos into Lightroom from a folder when I wanted to work on them, then deleted them from the library when I was done with them, and the photos never left the folder.

A few days ago I accidentally did something... I don't know what... that made LR3 decide to "import and move" instead of just "import" my photos when I drag and drop them into the library.

How do I reset LR3 so when I drag and drop photos into the library from a folder, it doesn't move them from that folder and copy them somewhere else?

In the import window (top of the screen) there are 4 options to import your images into LR. Just choose 'add' as that will import your images without moving them.
