Today I got to spend a little more quality time with my new camera. I feel like these are much better, but I feel like they still could use a lot of help. I took something like 250 photos. These are my 4 best.

I know this is my second thread C&C thread recently, but I rarely get out with my camera. I want to be able to learn as much as I can while I have time to practice.

Thanks Everyone.

Photography is just a hobby for me.

the squirl is ok, the bronch in the foreground is not helping and a tighter crop would loo better. the duck and flower look over exposed. did you shoot in the middle of the day? Try PP and bring your brightness down and contrast up. The last on is exposed nice however lacks composure.
Keep shootoing!

I dont shoot with a Canon, I just really like it here :)
Nikon D90, Nikon D7000.. 18-105 kit lens, Nikon 35mm prime lens, Sigma 70-200 f/2.8, Nikon 105mm macro/prime speedlight 600, 5-in-one reflector.... PSE9 editing software

Thanks for the thoughts. I was shooting in the middle of the day. I know its not the best time, but my choices were that time, or not at all. I am going to try to re-edit the duck, but I think some of the white on the flower is blown out. I have some other squirrell images where the composition might be better, but they weren't as sharp as I would like.

Fundamentally they are pretty good, it's just that the contrast seems a little off the scale.

I like the last one. The road gives a good lead in to give an impression of depth, the trees a nice frame for the lovely blue summer's sky but I am missing a subject. Good for middle of the day.
