I always prepare photos of family members with different reactions other then the classic portrait shot, it gives a sense of who they were at the time, it this instance a little boy in the prime of his life. If this was my family the first photo would be enlarged and on the wall for display.

Taken a while ago, I haven't used this lens for a long time now as I've been hooked on my Tamron 90mm and Tokina 11-16mm lenses for a while now.

Gotta love this lens.

I loved this lens, but didnt love the build quality. Went thru 2 of them, didnt want to go for a 3rd lol.

Were you playing badminton with the lens?! Jesus. Ya, the build isn't great, but how do you break 2 of them? :P I've had mine for 7 years now and it's still working just fine.

Well the first one broke while getting out of the car and it bumped my side and I felt something roll down my leg and saw the front of the lens on the ground. Then the last time, I thought I had my camera securely on the tripod and turned around to get something and heard a horrendous crunch, and turn around to see my camera nosed dived off the tripod and the lens was broke and the lens mount on camera had to be fixed. But I know it doesnt take much for the 50 to snap apart. I loved the images I got from it, but decided to go with the sigma 50 instead. Plus I was able to get the sigma for less than the canon 1.4 version at the local camera store here in my town.
