Gave the Brenizer method a try today, love the concept behind this style.
Not the most amazing subjects, but a bit of fun none the less

It does take some practice,, but this is a helluva first attempt. First time i tried it, I left the camera in AV with spot metering,,, the finished photo looked like a crossword puzzle.

I know it sounds a bit morbid,,, but I learned how to do this on gravestones & statues at my local church. It's a fascinating technique,,, effectively creating shots taken by a lens that could not exist in real life.

Thank you I can see how practicing this in a cemetery could work, so many elements in different areas for the DOF to be effective, might give that a go one day
