Not bad. I hate the focus sound and speed but the IQ is pretty good if you don't have a busy background. I've also worn out a plastic flange on my 18-55 so that has me a little worried. But for the price I suppose you can't beat it. I'm olanning on putting it in harm's way so I don't want to use my Sigmalux ![]() _______________

Hi there everyone newbie here. Just purchased a 50mm f1.8 II for $65.00 just started playing around this evening . So far I like it .. Still learning the whole shooting in M mode.

Very good thanks for the info. I have a question. I have polarized filters on my other lenses, do any of you use a polarized filter on your 50mm. I think I may get one. Thanks.
