I knocked the screw-in sunshade against a speaker, and when I looked at it again (it was dark, I was in a theater shooting a live gig), the front element and sunshade were on the floor, as one unit. I took the whole thing home and put it aside until this morning. THen I noticed that the guts were not broken. I fiddled with it for a while an got the front element to go back in and with a twist it was working again. So far. We will see. A test AF worked. Ed
