100-400II at 400mm - not bad bokeh for F5.6 - it ain't 400 F2.8 worthy but it's ok

Hockey and wedding photographer. Favourite camera / lens combos: a 1DX II with a Tamron 45 1.8 VC, an A7Rii with a Canon 24-70F2.8L II, and a 5DSR with a Tamron 85 1.8 VC. Every lens I own I strongly recommend [Canon (35Lii, 100L Macro, 24-70F2.8ii, 70-200F2.8ii, 100-400Lii), Tamron (45 1.8, 85 1.8), Sigma 24-105]. If there are better lenses out there let me know because I haven't found them.

This is such a great lovely shot, wonderful creamy bokeh.....Almost 3d effect.
I just knew this was taken with a 200/f2 without looking. Shots like this make this lens stand out from the rest. I have written a review on this lens in this forum.

NSSA Event @ Huntington Beach a few weeks ago... Finally took out the 1D4 out of hibernation... Worked fantastic, as usual... And Joe (peeaanuut) let me use/test his Canon 2x TC Mark III with 'DA BEAST'... The combo worked pretty damn good at 800mm (1024mm with 1.3 crop)!!! Anyhoo... 1D4 + 400 2.8L II 'non-IS' + Canon 2x TC III... ISO 200, f/5.6 @ 1/2500sec...
