It is quite well built. Like a tank! Not sure if I will use it as macro as I have 3 other options for my macro work. Mainly interested in the star bokeh for portraits. Does look like a fun lens to play with along with my new Helios.

I did try the Volna as a macro, even though not quite 1:1. 6D, Yongnuo ring flash, & purple fairy lights in the background to try the bokeh.. F/5.6 I think. Shallow DOF, but the foreground is sharp. So far I like my new Russian lenses (Jupiter 200mm F/4 arriving soon).

Wanted to pull of one Butterfly shot using 85mm. Stuck at home and lot of time. Stayed in sun without much movement for some time to get this beauty.
