Fricks Cream of the Crop is, in fact, a title More info | Jun 24, 2011 22:46 | #2 I'm sure that some use some sigma lens like the 85 f/1.4 and tells like the 300 and 500 just cause they are cheaper.

Jun 24, 2011 23:07 | #3 If you poke around their website, they feature several photographers that use their equipment. I'm assuming the photographers featured are probably getting paid (cash or free equipment) in return for Sigma being able to use them in their marketing. Jim

I'm no pro by any means, but I'm finding I like what Sigma has to offer. So much so that sometimes I wonder if I should have went with a Sigma body. I am finding that I really like Sigma lenses. I don't care if they have focusing issues and I have to send them in right away. I like my Sigma 24-70 better than 24-70L. I wast wondering if there is anyone here that is not getting paid by Sigma that is using all their lenses. Canon 1D Mark IV | Canon 50mm f/1.8 STM

Jun 24, 2011 23:17 | #6 I think you will find that pros will use whatever gets the job done correctly. From what I've seen that job usually falls to an L lens. https://500px.com/chriskennedydotphoto

I have had almost no trouble with focus issues, I have however had trouble in the past with the old crinkle finish on my old non DG 120-300 and non DG 100-300. I shoot mainly hotels and travel locations and find with most of the situations I shoot in (ie. non action) the photographer makes more difference than the gear. I my clients are happy and have never complained about the final product they have received from me. I found it surprisingly sharp. Even some reviewers like it better than 85L II X-Pro1 + 18-55 f/2.8-4 OIS + 55-200 f/3.8-4.5 OIS

It's pretty old though - published in 1994. 6D (normal), 6D (full spectrum), Tamron 24-70 f2.8 VC, 135L, 70-200 f4L, 50mm f1.8 STM, Samyang 8mm fisheye, home studio, Fast Stacker

Yes, lots of pros use Sigma lenses. They only shoot at night, so you rarely see them.
