How's this look, lighting wise? Bounced flash off a flat white ceiling. Room is fairly dark (lights turned off) so have to rely on the flash for all the light.

Will you pay your dues to the Royal Couple?

That is sooooo like all the fake Irish and Italians around me in Boston.

"Oh, I am Irish". So you ask them "Cool, I lived out there for a bit, where in Ireland are you from?"

"Oh, I am not from Ireland, but I am Irish".:rolleyes::confused::confused:

"No, you're a stupid mother****ing moron, you deserve to be in this country, with Honours".

Substitute Italian in place of Irish. It is bizarre. Heritage, sure, but come on...30% of U.S. folk have passports, and most of these fake wannabes have hardly left New England...

I wanted to go to Ottawa for Canada Day, but it was going to cost a lot, so it was a no-go for me.

True, I am not actually from England. I have never been there. I claim myself to be fully Canadian. 4th generation Canadian. My Great-Grandfather was an orphan in England and was sent to Canada to work on farms. He stayed, bought the family farm, and had a family. My Grandmother's family is from England, but I don't know the history. My Mother's side of the family is a bit more complicated. Great Grandma was Irish, and Great Grandpa was French.

My Mother's Father's family has the complete lineage figured out. Family starts back in the early times, with a monastery being established on the family's land in 664 AD. When William the Conqueror invaded England, members of the family were his cohorts. They then settled in England and one of them married an English girl who's dowry was the estate of Bykenhulle, in Somersetshire.

So it's monsoon season here in Arizona. We had a huge thunderstorm last night, and tonight we were hit by this:

What the heck... why?

Seems like it would just add extra weight and cost, I don't see the point...

Then again I'm already running Ultegra, so it would be an easy upgrade :p
