unless he is surely positive about it I don't think its a wise idea at all.... on the other hand, I think Jake can pull it off if he could become somebody like this

LOL...now my Rangers are getting dragged thru the mud online too!

I don't know why they paid that kid so much. Sometimes I wonder about Jon Daniel's logic.

I actually have no idea or undestanding of baseball at all...but I just saw it somewhere around yahoo's page... and $5million and 16 year old definitely doesn't make sense so I opened it up haha

yeah really... how the heck do you justify that

yes:D

Gitzo 3541LS folds down to 22" and expands to 58"
then Markins Q20... which according to Julian is better than RRS BH-55.

if for some reason I suddenly wake up from my craziness I might go for the Feisol CT-3442 (at 17" folded). and the Q10 :D

but from the looks of it, I prefer stability more than compactness and weight... I do travel a lot locally but I usually have a car with me :D

kind of exspensive:confused:

Exactly...It'll be hard to feel justified going from f/1.4 L primes to f/2 Leica primes...and if he can swallow that drop, then you're still looking at:

M9 = $7k
35/2 = $3k
50/2 = $2k
90/2 = $3.7k

Essentially, most of the Leica f/2 glass = 2x the cost of Canon L primes, and he won't get near MSRP when he sells his used. But he looks to have enough glass there to pull a 3-lens setup in the f/2 lineup and maybe even jump up to the 50/1.4 for $3.7k. Elsewise, he'll have to sub in some Voigtlanders to get the most versatility for his $$$.

ya i dont know why he would do that:rolleyes:

After reading some of the posts by the future-Leica-owner, I think you guys are right. He's just a collector. I think it was funny that he was greatly offended by people critiquing his shot of his gear.

ROFL

What the heck... why?

Seems like it would just add extra weight and cost, I don't see the point...

Then again I'm already running Ultegra, so it would be an easy upgrade :p

Evolution of the bike my friend. Im all for it! The full Ultegra system will sell for less next year than the current Dura-ace group which goes for $2400.

In terms of weight im about saving pounds and not grams. Ill take the slight up take in weight this system would bring. If its good for tour de france riders its good for me :) Not that im riding the types of bikes they are but i welcome the tech.

Plans of a new bike next year look better and better. This trek 2.3 will be a great back up bike :)
