That is sooooo like all the fake Irish and Italians around me in Boston.

"No, you're a stupid mother****ing moron, you deserve to be in this country, with Honours".

Substitute Italian in place of Irish. It is bizarre. Heritage, sure, but come on...30% of U.S. folk have passports, and most of these fake wannabes have hardly left New England...

Unless we are specifically talking about heritage, I never say "I'm French," I am American, and proud of it. And that's why it makes me so sad when I run across ugly Americans.

My wife is an American...she was born in Brasil, which happens to be in South America. She's lucky. She is a pretty American. It makes me really sad to see ugly Americans too. Not everyone gets to be beautiful.
