Antares region

I haven't imaged in AGES, but the night was so clear, with little humidity, so I was anxious to get the scope out. I'm glad I did, as I was able to get 4 minute subs, my best yet. This was also the first time I applied darks, bias, and flat frames. Stacked in DSS, and PP'd in GIMP and PSE 8. I know I overcooked some of it, but the PP learning process is SO steep. Still, I'm pleased with the end result, and I know it shall only get better.

I know that the star Antares is yellow but this seems a bit too yellow for me. You should have much more red on the star to the left.

Yes, I struggled with the reds, very much so. I wish I'd used my unmodded camera instead of my IR. The red cast was difficult to process, and during that processing, I lost a lot of red colors. PP is still very difficult for me, but I am slowly learning!
